TourBookings Online will at all times refund deposits when tour providers have authorised refunds to be processed. Whenever possible we request you advise us as soon as possible should you require any alterations to your tours.

TourBookings Online has local knowledge of all the tour areas and operators and the staff at Tour Bookings Online are all experienced Divers or Dive Instructors. This allows us to give you first hand knowledge of the local area.

Deposit and Full Payment Cancellation / Rescheduling policy:

Tour Bookings Online requires a Deposit of 20% of the course or trip to commence booking arrangements.

Tour Bookings Online will not charge your credit card until we have secured your booking.

We will contact you advising you we have secured your booking by Email, with a reservation confirmation number and details of the deposit charged and required payment details for the outstanding balance.

Tour Bookings Online will not charge any fees for bookings made that are found to be unavailable at time of booking and we will advise you that the tour is full, and give you the best options available for your consideration.

Please note Tour Bookings Online must receive at least 48 hours notice from you when choosing to cancel / reschedule a reservation prior to the start date.

Cancellation refunds are not given within 48 hours prior to travel or commencement date. This includes factors beyond your control including medical problems, airline delays, bad weather, etc. - "Trade Practices Act 1974". Travel insurance is highly recommended.

All Tour Bookings Online bookings are subject to a cancellation fee.

*Levy:

A levy is payable on many of the tours, the levies are listed with each tour as an extra fee payable. (+*Levy) The levies are made up of many separate fees and some will or may include Fuel levies, Administration charges and Government Environmental Management Charge (EMC): $5.50 An EMC of $5.50 is levied for all adults and children 4 years and over entering the Great Barrier Reef World Heritage area per day. Tour Bookings Online at no time collects this *levy an all *levies are payable in full on the day of travel.

Cancellations fees:

a. Cancellations made more than 48 hours before your course/trip commencement date, Tour Bookings Online will refund your deposit in Full.*Excludes TAKA Bookings

Taka: Cancellation: The cancellation fees based on the full trip value are as follows:

20% cancellation fee 30 days or more prior to departure.

50% cancellation fee if within 30 days prior to departure.

100% cancellation fee within 14 days prior to departure.

b. Within 48 hours of course/trip commencement: Full course/trip fee will be charged. *Excluding Open Water Dive Courses.

PADI Open Water Courses booked online with Tour Bookings Online Cancellation Fees Are:

Cancellation made more than 48 hours before your course/trip commencement date, Tour Bookings Online will refund your deposit in Full.

Should you find that you fail your dive medical on day 1 of the course commencement, or find that during your first Scuba Diving pool experience that diving is not for you and you cancel prior to 5 pm on the first day, Snorkel Cairns will refund your deposit.

We will advise you should an operator have any additional cancellation or payment request

Tour Bookings Online strongly recommends that you have travel insurance as well as appropriate dive insurance.
